Demanifestation: What winter can teach us about manifesting our desires.

Feb 02, 2024

I will be the first to tell you that you are worthy of manifesting your desires.

H O W E V E R…

Going about it in the way that most manifestation teachers are preaching is not just wrong, it's antithetical to the Divine Wisdom of creation (the governing laws of manifestation). There’s a whole lot of clickbaity information out there that I like to call Manifestation Porn.

man•i•fes•ta•tion porn

/ˌmanəfəˈstāSHən/ /pôrn/

1. content & media that emphasize the sensuous or sensational aspects of a nonsexual subject and stimulate a compulsive interest in their audience.

2. media, practices or rituals that stimulate desire but deplete creativity, initiative & personal power.

Manifestation porn has so many brilliant, creative souls feeling empty, depleted, and like something is wrong with them because they aren’t “manifesting.” If you’ve been or are in that state now it may make you want to manifest harder, double down on your mantras and rituals, or start another vision board, or watch another you tube video from your favorite manifestation teacher.

But I want to introduce you to the missing key in all this manifestation hoopla….

DEMANIFESTATION

Just like Mother Nature (the Goddess of Creation) has seasons and cycles of creation and destruction, birth and death…

SO DO WE.

So often when we are trying and efforting to make something happen in our lives what we really need to do is LET GO.

Let go of control.

Let go of the “how.”

And Let go of what's in the way.

Of course, letting go can be challenging. We are creatures of habit, and our brains resist change, clinging to the familiar. Society also conditions us to believe in constant accumulation. But in Nature constant accumulation would mean disharmony and loss of life. So nature keeps the balance with seasons and cycles.

This is where the practice of DEMANIFESTATION comes in.

Demanifesting is the art of conscious release.

It’s trusting that when we let go of the old, while it may be uncomfortable, it is necessary in order for something new to take its place.

Like pulling out the weeds in a garden.

Or how Mother Nature herself will burn down an entire forest just to see tender leaves sprout new life once again.

You may have noticed in your own life that when you set a big intention to create something new in your life things start to fall apart. We have a tendency to see this as something going wrong but when you understand the beauty and wisdom of creation you see that this falling away of things is actually serving to bring something new your way.

You don’t have to wait until life sends a proverbial forest fire to destroy what no longer serves you though.

You can start the practice of DEMANIFESTION to consciously cocreate with the laws of creation.

I recently shared two episodes on the Creatorship Podcast about my 3-day fast and prayer portal practice which was the start of a period of detoxing and demanifesting. I highly recommend listening to those as you embark on your own powerful demanifesting journey.

Here are a few practices to start with:

  1. Physical Detox -

Sweating, supporting digestion, lymphatic drainage, and liver health are crucial. Use methods like sauna sessions, dry brushing, and castor oil packs.

  1. Mental and Emotional Cleansing -

Meditation focused on release helps clear mental and emotional clutter.

  1. Forgiveness -

Practicing forgiveness, both for ourselves and others, is vital for releasing old energies and resentments.

  1. Gratitude -

Expressing gratitude for past experiences and extracting the lessons they teach us is so important to your manifestation journey. Without it you’re just planting seeds in soil that is not fertile.

  1. Reflection and Release -

Regularly reassessing our beliefs, habits, and relationships to let go of what no longer aligns with our evolution.

Demanifestation isn't about LOSING anything; it’s about preparing for the new. It's acknowledging that in creation, there's a time for expansion and a time for letting go. Whether you are approaching a metaphorical winter or actual season of winter, I encourage you to embrace this practice: reflect on what to carry forward and what to leave behind.

As I write this we are transitioning into the new year, let this be a time of gentle release and openness to new possibilities. Demanifesting and detoxing are powerful tools to step into our best selves with clarity and purpose.

I invite you to listen to the full podcast episode on DEMANIFESTING for a deeper exploration of these themes.

Remember, every ending is a new beginning, and every release makes space for something beautiful.

May your cycles and seasons of creation bring you abundance and wellbeing in perfect proportion.

With love,
